About chenier's environmental consulting Services

Chenier Environmental Consulting, LLC (Chenier) is a Louisiana-based environmental consulting firm that was established in 2014 with a staff of professionals experienced at conducting a wide range of regulatory, ecological, and environmental consulting services.

Chenier's mission is to passionately provide clients with innovative solutions to restore and conserve Louisiana's precious natural resources while maintaining the delicate balance with economic development for the benefit of all citizens.

Chenier has worked in and conducted applied research throughout the Chenier and Delta Plain and are experts at assessing and remediating the impacts associated with oil and gas and other regulated activities. We have conducted wetland delineations in Baton Rouge and threatened/endangered species surveys from Galveston, Texas to Tallahassee, Florida. We have prepared Biological Assessment reports in support of some of Louisiana's most ambitious coastal restoration projects including the Terrebonne Basin Barrier Shoreline Restoration Project. We have conducted numerous Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area.

We are constantly aware of the ever-changing laws and regulatory landscape and have forged solid working relationships with state and federal regulators over the years. We have prepared National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents in support of proposed projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Department of Corrections, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Bureau of Federal Lands. We have conducted Environmental Assessments to support three-dimensional seismic surveys on federal wildlife refuges, oil and gas mineral leasing on BLM land, and construction of private correctional facilities in Mississippi and Georgia.
